Dispute an Item on Your Credit Report

This form is used for disputing an item on your credit report. If we choose to accept your case, there is no cost for disputing this information. To make a determination about case acceptance, we'll have an attorney get in touch with you to learn more about your situation.
  • Be as specific as possible. Tell us when the information appeared, tell us why it is wrong (i.e., it is fraud, the dollar figure is wrong, it's not my account, etc.).
  • Be as specific as possible. Tell us when you disputed. Tell us if you have copies of your dispute letters/forms. Tell us if you disputed it with the alleged creditor or the credit reporting agency (i.e., TransUnion, Equifax, Experian). What was the result of your dispute?
  • For example, you should attach copies of disputes letters sent to the credit bureau and/ or the bureau response.
